photo op
- "Photo op" is short for photo opportunity. It's a staged or planned moment specifically designed for photographers (and now cameras/video) to capture a good image, usually for media, publicity, or political purposes.
Good lighting, a clean background, and a few props that tell the story-suddenly my cheap phone pics look like they belong in a magazine. I even started keeping a little "photo op kit" in my craft room with reflectors and colored paper. Learned most of my tricks from this guide on how to take good product photos with phone and it honestly changed everything for me. Sales doubled once the images stopped looking like blurry snapshots!

Pulling a Rife
- When someone arrogantly sabotages their own business or project through overconfident blunders, like picking unnecessary fights, making baseless claims, or alienating partners, only to watch it all backfire spectacularly. Often involves hiding behind excuses while the competition thrives.
Used in a sentence: "Dude, starting that petty lawsuit against your rivals just because your ego got bruised? You're totally pulling a Rife and now your company's reputation is in the trash."
