doubly purdy
- Rural Southern Alabama. Denotes that a person, animal or object is rather ugly in appearance. Literally means that subject of sentence is "purdy ugly and purdy apt to stay that way", and thus is 'doubly' purdy.
Joe, that girl friend of yours is doubly purdy.
