- from Brit com "coupling". when you laugh at an inappropriate time/ for no reason and the fact that you are laughing makes you laugh more and more and it builds up into an endless loop, or you don't laugh, but the fact that you would have laughed at such an inappropriate time is funny, and then you think about how funny that would have been etc... into eternity
