• Dude - (an alternate spelling) a person, usually but not always a male. Can also be used with proper inflection or punctuation as a question, 'Dude?', a commiseration, 'With a shaking of his head he proclaimed, 'Dude.'' or an expression of agreement or enthusiasm, 'Dude!'.
