- usually used with "around", as in "to furkle around". To rummage, forage, search, root through something.
If you need to plug in headphones occasionally, without having to furkle around at the back of the computer, most speakers these days have a headphone jack for that purpose.
After another furkle through Queenstown stores, and an encounter with a giant kiwi bird, we went back to the hotel to eat, pack and sleep.
