- excited describes all sorts of excessive emotions (and not always the good ones). If you're excited you might be agitated, nervous, anxious, or worked up about something. For example when you play Friday Night Funkin Players compete musically to gain the favor of their girlfriend's overly protective father and other strange opponents in the lively and well-liked rhythm-based independent game Friday Night Funkin' (FNF).
