  • to screw with the head of a person of the opposite sex, esp. a significant other. For example, sending mixed signals or something out of the clear blue sky what messes with one's conception of things. USA variation of "emotional fuckwittage" which is found in Bridget Jone's Diary.
    He emotionally fucked me over.
