This word originates from the 80's get-rich-quick society. A yup is an individual who strives for high status in society via monetary means.
That yup was rude. I bet that yuppie car cost a lot.

$20 dollar bills. Coined because the yuppie social class constantly relies on ATM machines for cash and they generally dispense 20's.
