technobabble

noun - uncountable

  • Technical verbiage that is nonsense or, at best, difficult to understand. Often used in science fiction plot points. Origin: science fiction fandom. Example: "If we can bounce a graviton particle beam off of the main deflector dish, we should be able to break free of the cosmic ribbon's hold."
    That technobabble makes no sense.

titty-twister

noun

  • the act of pinching and twisting a person's nipple to inflict pain. Usually performed only on males.
    I gave that kid a bad titty twister.

  • Freaking out, going crazy, out of control.

  • This word originates from the 80's get-rich-quick society. A yup is an individual who strives for high status in society via monetary means.
    That yup was rude. I bet that yuppie car cost a lot.
