• a security guard at a place such as a shopping mall or college campus who is obviously not a police officer. it comes from a line of vegetarian food, in this case Smart Dog, a vegetarian hot dog that isn't made with real pig.

  A Smart Dog at the mall was bothering me because he said I drive too fast.
