cling-on

  • People who won't go away. Stragglers. Friends, who at the last minute have invited themselves to do what you're doing.
    I can't meet you right now. There are some cling-ons who have been here since noon.
    We're gonna need two cars to go dancing now, because a couple of cling-ons just came on board.
