• a whore - i.e. a promiscuous (usually female) person, or an actual prostitute (usually female) - who is not doing well financially. That is: a whore who is (literally or figuratively) living in a gutter.

  I just got fired. I was living hand to mouth, so I have no savings. I don't think I have that much time until I'll end up as a gutter whore.
