- one who is attracted to intelligent people. A person who finds intelligence attractive. from Latin sapio ('wise, sensible, discerning') and Greek -phile ('loving') "I am 'attracted to intelligence' therefore I am a sapiophile."

- Stig was a character in a children's book by Clive King called "Stig Of The Dump". He was a caveman living secluded in a quarry in country England, who was discovered and befriended by a school boy.
