  • This is a military, combat slang phrase meaning to maneuver under heavy fire without being hit.

    Compare to use cover.

    The fire team had to run between the raindrops to cross the street covered by the gun position.

  • This describes an emotional overreaction by SJWs students and progressives, who are overwhelmed by the appearance of something that they find disagreeable.

    Compare to hysteria.
