  • Hyna is the original spelling in Chicano Calo and comes from the American word Honey which means a pretty or beautiful woman or girlfriend. Some people spell it Jaina in certain regions of the Southwest. Other words that are simillar to Hyna are "Huisa" and "Ruca" or "Mora".
