activistoid

• a setting where a certain political ideology predominates and people are expected to conform to the ideology and must try to convert others to the ideology. Usually refers to groups that are outside the political mainstream. Many of the people in such groups are called activists. From "activist" + "oid".

  Person 1: Many sex positive folk view monogamy as literally Hitler and polyamory as the silver bullet.
  
  Person 2: Do you live in some weird activistoid hellhole? Because outside of them, pretty much everyone assumes monogamy.
