Definition of aughts, the
noun - uncountable
- the decade from 2000 to 2009. Compare with "eighties", "nineties" and so forth.
We made past the year 2000 as boring as that whole over hyped milestone was, I made certain to use my time well because I felt like I may have well of declared my whole life damned if I let those years we called the aughts go by without making sure I reached for specific and significant life enhancing goals.
