Definition of drift

drift

verb - intransitive

  • To perform an advanced turn in a car involving horizontal sliding of the wheels to achieve a sharper turn angle.
    This nut tried to drift in my building's parking lot! Ended up totaling my car and two others besides his own. I just hope he has good insurance.
