- Does "gib" comes from "giblet"? As in, to damage your target so severely that the target is reduced to giblets?
Related to "gib", there is an "instagib" mode in several video games and mods. In this mode, players start with high powered weapons and no armor. Consequently, any hit will instantly gib the target.Last edited on Sep 24 2016. Submitted by Anonymous on Sep 24 2016.
