stone (one's) groove

  • to interrupt an individual's groove, roll, or momentum. Akin to a scratch in a record or CD causing the music to skip.
    Man, I was doing great until you came and stoned my groove!
    I was really locked in on that jam until my dumb-ass singer fucked up a note and stoned my groove.
