Definition of sync

sync

  • the practice of substituting a film's original soundtrack with an alternate audio source, usually a music CD/album.
    "The Dark Side of the Rainbow" is a sync featuring Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" CD and the film "The Wizard Of Oz."
