  • In Melbourne, Australia, in 1963 a friend said he was going to invent a new word (Bizzo) to see how long it would take to spread. His meaning was, "something that he couldn't remember the name of".

  • a metaphorical city used to represent a rural location or a location far from excitement. (Submitter hypothesizes that the term comes from the assumption that people in such areas have nothing to do but engage in incest and sodomy.)
