dockman's hanky

  • Blowing one's nose by holding the other nostril with a finger. Done by dock workers. Also, the preferred method of many cyclists.
    I did not have a tissue, so I used the dockman's hanky.

  • From the word hussler. It's used to describe someone who thinks they're cool, but they're really not.
