To resolve Google's penalty
against this site (still active after 437 days)
I've been forced to censor all 5,300 citations of slang use.
With the penalty in place, there's just no way to compete on a level playing field
with dictionaries that don't have citations. Guys: I'm sorry.

- a mess; something useless; something unappealing.
The following definition is usually provided: "A blivet is X pounds of shit in a Y pound bag" where X is greater than Y. For example:A blivet is 10 pounds of shit in an eight pound.
Example sentences:
A blivet is two pounds of shit in a one pound bag.This has turned into a real blivet.
He's got a blivet for a brain.

chinook
- an unseasonably and sudden, constant warm wind that blows from the west to the east through the cascade mountain passes (late winter to early spring). It usually lasts for the better part of a day and will not only melt all the snow but dry up all the water too. Familiar to anyone living in the foothills of the eastern cascade mountains in Washington State and Oregon.
A chinook blew through yesterday and dried everything up!
