Pull a Brent

  • Borrow as much money as possible and max out all credit cards and then file for bankruptcy.
    I am so behind on my bills that I think I should pull a Brent.

    My former friend borrowed money and then he went on to pull a Brent.

turd burglar

  • an idiot, a loser, one who does something uncalled for. Popularized by the film Beavis and Butthead do America. Also appeared in the TV series South Park.

  • Used, colloquially, by local builders in South East England, especially Sussex, to describe drain-clearing/rodding operatives (not usually expressed in polite company.)

    When confronted with a blocked drain, it was common to hear a contractor come up with the phrase 'we'll have to call in the turd burglars', for which there are several well-known names on violently coloured vans around the area
