Google juice
noun - uncountable
- a metaphorical substance that improves a website's position, and the position of specific web pages on that website, when pages from that website appears in Google search results.
Among other factors, the number of links to a website or page increases its "Google juice". Those links pass on Google juice from the linking website and page to the linked website and page. Links from large, important websites and important pages on those websites pass on more Google juice than links from small, unknown websites and pages on those websites. Links from spammy websites or pages may subtract Google juice from the linked website and pages.The New York Times' website has more Google juice than KEXP's website.
