Definition of subseries

subseries

noun

  • an episode-chronological that doesn't exclude any episodes within its chronological section of a season, therefore the total number of subseries of a season contains all the episodes of that season.

    While in contrast, miniseries can skip some episodes and exclude some episodes. Therefore the total number of miniseries of a season doesn't have to be and very usually doesn't contain all the episodes of a season.
