verb - transitive
- With the start of the war in Afghanistan - "dirt nap" - became a popular term to describe an enemy combatant that has been killed in action. The reasoning behind this is due to the sand being diminutive and covering the dead. The dead literally look like they have rolled around in the dirt. This is more so the case when CAS drops a hellfire on that ass.
Bro! Look at that Terry taking a dirt nap!

notes
- Almost certainly a poetic reference to the dirt that surrounds a grave.
