  • A southern US expression. definitely happening and going to be great.
    The following is from an announcement of a band concert: "So call the baby sitter and find someone to watch the dog because Friday march 8 is on like a chicken bone.
    From a site on tournament fishing: "The Pearl River was on like a chicken bone this weekend..."; i.e., the fish were biting enthusiastically.
