  • rest and relaxation.

    "Rest" and "relaxation" are synonyms, so this definition, although widely used, doesn't really make sense.
    I could use a little R & R after finals week.

  • what World of Warcraft players called Reddit users. A play on "retard", it was an insult to Reddit users because it made fun of their Reddit-using status. From 2006.
    Look at that r/tard mage!

  • acronym for "Read the fucking manual." A statement usually in response to a technical question posted to an online discussion forum or email list, that could easily be answered by the person asking the question, if they simply took a little initiative and read the documentation.
