verb - intransitive

  • to go away. Origin: from onomatopoeia "buzz", the sound an insect makes, implying that the person addressed is annoying and should leave.

buzzword bingo

  • a bingo game played during meetings. Played with a grid of squares (e.g. five-by-five) each containing a "buzzword." If a word is used during the meeting, that square is crossed off. The goal is to have an entire row, column, or diagonal crossed off.
