  • to clean. Origin: the Hoover brand of vacuum cleaners.
    You are not going out to play until you hoover that messy room of yours!

noun

  • meat whose originating species cannot be identified. Often served in institutions (hospitals, prisons, schools, employee cafeterias) and foreign food restaurants.
    It looks like we're having mystery meat for lunch again. Do you think it's chicken? Maybe it's pork.
