  • to not show an important event on TV. Usually refers to a sporting event or sports competitor. First used by Trudi Marrapodi on rec.sport.skating.ice.figure in reference to Michael Chack who placed a surprising 3rd at US Nationals and was not shown on TV because he wasn't expected to place.
    They didn't show him on TV, he got chacked.
