Flux Kontext

  • Flux Kontext is a suite of generative flow matching models developed by Black Forest Labs (BFL) . It is an advanced text-to-image model that expands upon classic text-to-image models . A key feature of Flux Kontext is its ability to function as an image-to-image editing model that understands the context within an image, allowing users to tweak, transform, and experiment with it . It supports input from both text and images simultaneously, enabling intelligent understanding of image context for precise editing . This capability allows users to extract and modify visual concepts to create new, coherent images . There is also a development version, FLUX.1 Kontext [dev], which is a 12 billion parameter rectified flow transformer capable of editing images based on text instructions

  • A state of creative synergy between human intent and AI visual generation, characterized by seamless context-aware image editing and multi-modal prompt control. The term originates from FLUX Kontext, an AI platform developed by Black Forest Labs for generating and editing images with semantic precision.

"Flux Kontext" can also refer to the state of mind one enters when deeply engaged with intelligent tools that interpret and enhance your creative direction - a high-resolution conversation between your imagination and the machine.
Tired of generic AI art with no soul? You need some Flux Kontext. It's not just a tool - it's a new design language.
