Nocialism

noun

  • A political ideology marked by the refusal of its adherents to admit that a policy (or set of policies) has any resemblance to Socialism.

    Examples of Nocialism:

    "Single payer government run healthcare is not Socialism."

    "The government taking over control of all student loans is not at all Socialistic."

  • roughly equivalent to "serious." Used similarly to phrases such as, "Seriously?" "Are you serious?" etc. Can also be used as a statement rather than a question, meaning "Seriously!" Popularized by R&B/rap group Blackstreet in their song "No Diggity" on the 1996 album Another Level.
    Sally: Einstein was smart!

    Bennie: No diggity?

    Sally: No diggity!
