sincope nonshift

verb

  • to stay in the same sin-virtue position while transitioning into a virtue position, as opposed to shifting such sin-virtue position as a means of coping with ones sins.

An example of this would be trying to calm oneself down when they are angry, though this actually might lead to oneself becoming prideful due to sin-virtue positioning. Instead, the sincope nonshifting guess indirectly claims that it is better to turn anger into diligence then to turn anger into calmed down anger which often turns into pride.
