WAF

  • acronym for "wife acceptance factor." I heard it first when I was learning to fly a remote control airplane. The instructor told me he lost most of his students after two or three weeks because the hobby has a low WAF.
    Tornado chasing has a low WAF.
    Remote control airplanes have a low WAF.
